Thank you to all the attendees and staff for making our second annual MINDBODY FitPro Conference such a huge success! Hosted by Mad Dogg Athletics and MINDBODY, the conference was held at the Marina del Rey Marriott in Marina del Ray, California,
The event showcased over 70 continuing education courses and business improvement workshops for health and wellness professionals from around the world. This year’s programming featured a variety workshops focusing on Spinning®, Pilates, yoga, dance, functional training and business and allowed time for intimate conversations between presenters and other attendees.
Some of our top sessions included Ugi® Fit, the Successful Mind/Body Entrepreneur, Peak Pilates® for Athletes, Spinning 8 Months to Ironman, and Spinning Rockin’ Flats and Rolling Hills. Several of the sessions took place in unique settings including the rooftop helicopter pad and the outdoor Glow Lounge, giving attendees a breath of fresh air and inspiration during their sessions.
Those attending MindBody Fit Pro also had access to the Expo Hall, which was headlined by the CrossCore® Training Zone. Here, attendees could experience the latest in suspension training equipment. The Expo also featured other vendors including Spinning, Peak Pilates, Bodyblade®, Ugi, KettleBell Concepts™, Lorna Jane, Constant Contact, Isagenix, Listen 360 and Live Edit. There was even a social media station where participants could a photograph in front of the “Wish You Were Here” banner (and we really do!).
During the evenings, we shifted gears from learning to relaxing and mingling with fellow conference attendees. On Friday, attendees reveled at an LED Hoola Hooping show on the rooftop helicopter pad as they sipped on cocktails. Saturday evening, we held our mixer featuring a live DJ, drinks, food, and our famous photo booth which always includes loads of props.
MINDBODY FitPro 2013 was an exciting event and an enormous success! Many attendees furthered their education and many friends were made.
We can’t wait for what’s in store for next year’s conference. We hope to see you all then!
