This past Saturday, the Spinning® Nation 2014 event was held at Official Spinning Facilities across the nation, and we had an incredible time!

The event was co-sponsored by the American Heart Association, (AHA) for the first time, and this year, the partnership was called “Go Red For Women®”, supporting heart disease awareness specifically for women.

Heart disease is the leading cause of death for women in America, responsible for 1 out of every 3 deaths in women.

MDA CEO John Baudhuin and VP of Programs and Education came out to Warner Brothers Studios’ onsite fitness center and Official Spinning Facility to participate in the event. The ride was led by actor Reno Wilson from “Mike & Molly” and his wife Coco.

Over 80 riders filled the four-hour long ride, and as we posted previously, they were promised to be treated to dinner by Reno and Coco.  So congratulations to them!

We also had a two-hour long event at Mad Dogg Athletics’ headquarters in Venice, CA with the other Official Spinning® locations across the nation.
