For All Spinning® Enthusiasts

What is the Cost of the Indoor Cycling Certification for Spinning?

Are you thinking about becoming a certified Spinning® instructor? If so, you have come to the right place, and becoming an active part of the Spinning® revolution just may be one of the best decisions you ever make. Obtaining an indoor cycling certification with Spinning® is very easy but very rewarding, and when you consider the immense payoffs, the cost is extremely affordable.

The first step to becoming a certified Spinning® instructor is to participate in our Spinning® Instructor Orientation. These orientations are held nationwide on a regular basis, and you can find an upcoming orientation in your area by using the Search bar at the top of this page. Just enter your zip code, select the “Trainings” option and click the “Search” button.

During your orientation, you will learn a variety of important skills for instructors, such as how to develop strong coaching skills, how to craft unforgettable class ride profiles, how to incorporate heart rate training and even how to use visualization techniques to enhance the mind/body connection.

Registration fees can vary depending on the location and other factors, but in general, you can expect to pay $295 for the orientation, plus $30 for the Spinning® Instructor Manual. Your workshop will provide you with all of the tools that you need to become a certified Spinning® instructor. After your training session is complete, you can take our official Assessment test online. Upon completion, you can start teaching at any of our 35,000+ facilities worldwide, and your certification is good for two years.

The price is truly remarkable because it includes 9 hours of hands-on training led by a Master Spinning® instructor, and everything you need to start teaching as well. As if that were not enough, all Orientation participants receive a complimentary 6-month SPIN® Membership (valued at $99), and SPIN members receive 15% off Spinning® continuing education workshops and other valuable discounts. Your training will pay for itself in no time.

Best of all, when you become a certified Spinning® instructor, you get the benefit of helping and inspiring others to become healthier and to reach their fitness goals. You can’t put a price on the kind of difference that you can make in people’s lives, so what are you waiting for? Find a Spinning® orientation in your area and take that all-important next step.
