Katie has been an avid indoor cyclist since her high-paced days in New York city in 2005. After a move to Boston and a review of her real priorities in life, she decided to leave her job in the finance industry to pursue her true passions – nutrition and health. Naturally, a transition from being a member of the audience to leading classes only made sense, and she has been happily teaching aggressive, challenging, sweat-inducing rides since 2009. Katie has her Masters of Science in Nutrition Communications from the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University and is currently completing her dietetic internship to become Registered Dietitian (RD) through Massachusetts General Hospital. She writes a health and nutrition-focused blog as The Aspiring RD, and uses her online platform to comments on nutrition news, share her playlists, and provide thoughtful ways to care for personal wellness. She is an avid pilates fan and also loves skiing (but only out west!!) She currently teaches a class she dubbed "Rerock" at Boston's Recycle Studio - expect a showing of alternative rock that she swears will keep you from playing Top 40 ever again.
