Kathryn has made it her life’s purpose to help others feel their best ever since she got her first fitness certification at age 18. Kathryn specializes in Pilates and yoga in addition to running and health coaching programs.
Although she started her career as an indoor cycling instructor and personal trainer she quickly recognizing the trans-formative power of Pilates. Now, with over 13 years experience, she has been featured in Pilates Style Magazine, nationally on NBC, Fox News and in DVDs. She has completed two classical comprehensive Pilates certifications with PilateSystems and Peak Pilates® totaling over 1000 hours of training. Kathryn not only teaches students but also trains instructors in the Peak Pilates® method and shares her knowledge at educational conferences. She is known for her approachability.
Learning never ends and Kathryn is committed to making the classical Pilates method accessible for everybody and has worked closely with physical therapists, gaining insight into how to use Pilates for pre-hab and re-hab. She also has worked with many professional athletes helping them to use Pilates to enhance their performance and avoid injury. Kathryn has also studied with Pilates elder Mary Bowen and master teachers Kathy Corey, Zoey Trap, Clare Dunphy, Coleen Glen, Michael Fritzke, Ton Voogt and others.
Kathryn is also a certified Jivamukti Yoga instructor and certified holistic health coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.
