Ride Description: I use this playlist for a heart rate pyramid profile. The focus of this ride is controlled progressive increases in heart rate up to lactate threshold (or 85% of MHR) and then back down. It includes seven levels of heart rate progression, increasing 5 beats each level (4 minutes each). Once threshold is reached, begin to descend (2 minutes each) three times, reducing heart rate 10 beats each descend.
