Spinning Instructors in Love

Ned and Jodi started dating just over two years ago. She was a Spinning instructor. He was a student and road cyclist. After witnessing his fitness level, his knack with music and his natural ability to teach, she encouraged him to get certified and begin teaching. He encouraged her to try outdoor cycling. They spent two great years teaching Spinning classes, cycling, traveling, drinking wine, and having fun being fit and healthy together.

On Jodi’s 40th birthday, she asked to teach his 6am class. After their students had left, they began straightening up the room and Ned put on a Van Morrison CD. He gave her a hug and a kiss—then he got on one knee and proposed! When Jodi got over the initial surprise, she accepted.

It has been fun for Ned and Jodi to see people’s reactions to the Spinning room proposal, but they explain that it’s who they are. They have a deep love for the Spinning program, cycling, fitness in general and, of course, each other. Mad Dogg Athletics congratulates Ned and Jodi on their Spinning room engagement—enjoy the ride!
