Do you want to maximize your performance and fulfillment in life? 

 

We live in turbulent times.  The complexity of our daily lives is ever-increasing, doing more with less; we race through our days with little time for reflection on who we are, who we aspire to be or where we are going.   In our 24/7 global economy, there seems to be no end to the work.  In response to this daunting reality, we sometimes find ourselves or most our members sleep-deprived, skipping meals, eating unhealthy foods, moving less, and paying little attention to our close relationships.  Exhausted, overwhelmed, scattered and disengaged often characterize our day-to-day lives. 

 

We think the solution is better time management.  If we manage our time better, we can get more things doneLet’s think again. Time is a limited resource and we place unlimited demands on it.  These infinite demands cost energy. Unlike “time,” “energy” is an unlimited resource, but only if we can learn how to build it, manage it and mobilize it effectively. When we optimize the quantity, quality and utilization of our multi-dimensional energy, we are VITAL- resulting in full engagement, sustained high performance and fulfillment in our lives and in our teachings.

 

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT VITALITY!  Vitality comes from four main wellsprings in human beings:  the body, mind, emotions and spirit.  In each wellspring, vitality can be depleted by energy-depleting behaviors resulting in a “vitality crisis” or vitality can be expanded and regularly renewed by establishing energy-renewing behaviors.

 

Vitality is multi-dimensional and requires skillful management of in all dimensions:  physically, mentally, emotionally and even spiritually. 

 

These four main wellsprings of health are inter-related and are insufficient independent of one another, thus deficits in one area will not only affect your overall vitality (energy) level, but will impact the quality of energy in the other dimensions.

 

To maintain optimal vitality, we must learn to respect our physiological rhythm; and therefore, balance energy expenditure with intermittent energy renewal; otherwise known as recovery from whatever challenges we are faced with.
