Are you making the best use of your exercise time? Your active metabolism determines how efficiently you burn fat and the effectiveness of each workout. VO2MAX represents your maximum potential, but your Aerobic Base (AB) and Anaerobic Threshold (AT) tell how efficiently your metabolism burns fuels. Through an 8–12 minute exercise assessment (with O2 uptake and CO2 production), we will precisely determine how well your “metabolic engine” is tuned and determine your type of fuel consumption—the amount of fats and carbohydrates you burn. In addition, your metabolic assessment will provide you with individualized heart rate training zones and a program designed to improve your metabolism, develop aerobic base and increase speed. Workout programs will vary, teaching your body first how to burn more fat while maximizing total caloric burn and allowing you to make the most efficient use of your time. Technology once reserved for research and elite athletes is now available to you and your clients.
PREPARATION: No food, caffeine, or exercise within 3 hours of the assessment and no strenuous exercise within 24 hours of the assessment.
