Description

The Spinner^® Elite manufactured by Star Trac uses the same basic platform as the Spinner^® Pro but incorporates the patented Smart Release^® system. The Smart Release system provides the benefits of a fixed-gear drive train but allows the flywheel to freewheel when back pressure is applied to the cranks. The Smart Release system gives the rider the feel of the fixed gear with the ability to stop pedaling (the flywheel coasts to a stop) whereas the Spinner Pro or Spinner NXT require that the rider gradually slow the pedals to a stop.

The Spinner Elite Incorporates a very functional dual water bottle holder (or a water bottle/remote control holder) that won't bend or break like a traditional water bottle cage. The Spinner Elite also utilizes dual sided pedals with a traditional basket on one side and SPD compatible cleat system on the other. Our dual-sided SPD compatible pedal was designed specifically for the Spinner line of bikes and is by far and away the most durable and functional indoor cycling pedal available. The Spinner^® Elite is one of four commercial quality bikes that are specifically manufactured by Star Trac for the Spinning^® program. What's great about the Spinner^® Elite is that it is a very safe bike that is great for beginners and other individuals that are not familiar with riding a fixed-gear bike. Like the entire line of Spinner bikes, the Spinner Elite features a micro-adjust seat that allows infinite fore-aft adjustment. The closely positioned holes on the vertical adjustments (handle bars and seat post) won't slip and provide maximum adjustability for riders of all sizes.

Our Spinner® V, Velo, Pro, Elite, NXT and eSpinner bikes include complimentary ground shipping (within the Continental US), via a national trucking company, curbside delivery only. Express delivery is NOT available for these items. Customer will be contacted by the trucking company for a delivery appointment.

Shipments to AK, HI and Canada will incur additional shipping charges. A Mad Dogg Athletics representative will contact you to discuss these charges. Sorry, these items are not available to Puerto Rico.
